As a research project coordinator on Dr. Valerie Lewis' team, Jung supports the full life cycle of activities related to the team’s research projects that explore how health care organizations across the nation are strategically adapting to delivery system and payment reform. Specializing in qualitative research methodologies, she conducts phone and in-person interviews with a range of stakeholders, including executive leadership and frontline providers. Based on the team's special interest in safety net providers serving vulnerable populations, she especially enjoys analyzing the data to understand how policies are influencing health disparities and the integration of social services with medical care. Jung earned an MPH from The Dartmouth Institute and a BSA in biology with a minor in philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin. During the master's program, she was one of five recipients for the 2016 Capstone Award, in which she investigated how to improve patient flow through the outpatient psychiatry clinic at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center by understanding the patient’s perspective.
