Dr. Nithya Ramesh is a dentist and a health care researcher, who serves as a curriculum specialist at The Dartmouth Institute. Her areas of interest include measuring and improving the quality of health care delivery, and epidemiology of oral diseases. As part of her role with The Dartmouth Institute, Ramesh is responsible for course design, management, and evaluation for the online and residential MPH programs. She also assists faculty and instructional designers with developing and implementing new technology and pedagogy into the residential and online classrooms across courses. She also conducts a variety of learning activities for students in conjunction with course faculty. Ramesh is a 2017-18 Global Health Fellow at The Dartmouth Institute. She has previously worked at the Rhode Island State Department of Health in the Oral Health program to help develop and maintain the state's School Oral Health initiative. Ramesh holds a B.S. in dental surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, and an MPH from Brown University.
