Stephanie Tomlin (Steph) is the operations director for the Data Analytic Core, which provides health services research programming/analytic support to research faculty and their project teams in a highly secure IT environment. Tomlin is responsible for strategic alignment of data/analytic/IT resources with research project needs, budget development and oversight, training and development, performance evaluation/management, and data security & compliance. She also serves as a member of The Dartmouth Institute Council and as a co instructor for The Dartmouth Institute's Communications initiative. In both roles, she is actively engaged in organizational development and evaluation with a strong interest in identifying and testing innovative ways to connect colleagues with the principles and practices around positive team culture. Steph enjoys uniting students, staff, and faculty across the organization who have shared interests, where opportunities for optimized collaboration & productivity may be realized. Steph is also an active member of The Dartmouth Institute admissions committee and serves as a mentor for student interns. In this capacity, she provides networking opportunities for students eager to learn and participate in “real research projects” with project teams that have aligned interests and needs. She holds an MS in health care leadership from Dartmouth College, an MPA from the University of Vermont, and a BS in psychology, also from the University of Vermont.
