Scholarships & Financial Aid
Merit scholarships are available for the MPH and MS programs. Priority consideration is given to candidates who submit their application by the first round deadline on December 1, 2016. All candidates whose application is submitted by February 1, 2017 will be reviewed for a scholarship; there is no additional scholarship application required.
Merit Scholarship - Awarded to highly qualified students both academically and professionally who also have a unique contribution to make in our graduate programs and have leadership abilities to make a difference in health care in the future.
Dartmouth Institute Leadership Scholar - Each year, a select few students who distinguish themselves with strong academics, dedication to changing health care and interest in Dartmouth are chosen from the entering class to receive this honor.
Range: $15,000 to $30,000
Dartmouth Institute Pioneer Scholar - We are honoring a few students from our pioneering online MPH classes who have distinguished themselves with strong academics, dedication to changing health care and interest in Dartmouth with this award.
Range: $5,000-$20,000 per year
Tuition and stipend scholarships are available for the PhD Program.

Federal loans are available to US citizens enrolled at least half-time and making satisfactory progress in a degree program. Federal financial aid to graduate students is available through the Federal Stafford Student Loan program and the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan program.
