Our research portfolio is growing and several of our research teams are hiring.
This is an opportunity for individuals at all levels to join us in shaping the national conversation on health policy. We anticipate hiring for several new positions across all levels, including:
Research Grant Manager: Provides grant management support to investigators in the development, submission and management of proposals that further the research and education mission of The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. Ensures compliance with Federal and non-Federal regulations, sponsor requirements and Dartmouth/Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) policies. Requires four years of experience in sponsored projects administration in an academic medical center, scientific research environment or the equivalent. Demonstrated excellent writing and communications experience. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, science or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Job #1012412.
Research Project Director: Leads team in the strategic execution of a portfolio of complex multiple-component projects, independently ensuring smooth implementation and achievement of research objectives, accurate data collection, analysis of quantitative and/or qualitative data, effective engagement with investigators and stakeholders, and widespread dissemination of findings. Requires 8+ years professional experience, Master’s degree, and a proven record of success managing teams and complex projects. Candidates with doctoral-level training in health services, health policy, or social services plus a demonstrated ability to lead a portfolio of research are encouraged to apply. Job #1011825.
Research Project Manager: Executes one or more complex multiple-component projects across the entire life cycle of research activities: developing and implementing protocols, data collection, data analysis, and reporting. Develops plans to achieve project objectives, tracks project progress and communicates status to leadership, stewards assigned project activities, maintains quality of work products, and independently problem solves. Minimum 5 years of experience in research and/or health care management. Master’s degree preferred. Job #1012116.
- Research Project Coordinator: Implements a range of research tasks (e.g., data collection, analysis) and conducts monitoring and follow-up needed to progress activities for one or more research projects with limited oversight. Supports the collection and interpretation of quantitative and/or qualitative data, data management, management of subcontractors, and the design and preparation of reports to internal and external stakeholders. Independently coordinates with partners to complete project activities and exercises a high level of judgment and independent thinking to resolve project challenges. Minimum experience is three years in health policy, public health, or related field in a professional setting. A Bachelor’s degree is required, a Master’s degree is preferred. Job # 1011925.
