The Dartmouth Institute’s Certificate in the Fundamentals of Value-Based Health Care provides health professionals the essential tools they need to understand and navigate the challenges of patient-centered, high-value health care and population health.
Through our fully online program, you will learn from the same faculty who teach in our master’s programs, while building a network of colleagues who are making significant improvements to health care delivery and health systems around the world. You will also explore the concepts that have made The Dartmouth Institute renowned for its unique approach to health services research, such as geographic variation in health care delivery through the pioneering work of the Dartmouth Atlas. Additionally, you will develop a foundation in data analysis and health care finance, and learn how to redesign health services processes to improve the quality of care.
